The Origin
Our scientists have visited all kinds of places in the world where life originates, such as the amazons, rainforests and deep oceans. We studied the phenomena that some plants are strong, healthy, and resistant. We embraced the lessons from nature and extracted the components that ensure healthy plant life.
Ancient Druid formulas mention the importance of minerals and trace elements. Berkana is a universal formula for all types of plants, vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. In DWC (Deep Water Culture) there is a fine balance, finding that balance and keeping it can be hard. At Druid Nutrients they’ve changed the game… Perfect for beginners and seasoned growers as for professionals…
This is a short version of how I use my weapon of choice… Starting from seed, we use normal tapwater to germinate… Once germed, we move them to the rockwool plugs… Still normal tapwater…
The moment the taproot shows on the bottom of the plug, we move them to the buckets… Their solution is enriched with Jera, this is an organic enchanter that I put to work when I don’t need nutrients in my solution, which translates to the first 2 weeks of the seedlings life and off course the “end flush” before harvest… Jera is integrated in Berkana so there is no need to use both at the same time… One could think of Jera as a waterconditioner.
After the first 2 weeks in the buckets I would want to introduce the actual nutrients, start at half the dose Berkana… 1 gram per liter water will translate to an EC value of 1.2ms/cm. So we start at 0.5 gram per liter… let that value grow with your plant… an adult plant with solid roots will have no problem with the full gram. Flowering is basically the same as with veg, but at higher values, how high? That’s strain depended…
Every week I change their water… If your plants are heavy drinkers or during stretch/flower you will need to refill your buckets/system… adding half a dose of Berkana to the water you add, will help to refill the used nutrients…
As I said in the beginning, right before harvest I use Jera again to keep my water in perfect condition while the plants finish…
That’s basically it… it can be this simple to grow hydroponics with the help of Druid Nutrients.
